The first Canadian JYSK store was opened in Coquitlam, BC in 1996. Today, JYSK operates 61 stores across Canada, including locations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Québec.

JYSK is seeking an AGR Inventory Allocation Coordinator to join our Inventory Allocation team on a permanent full time basis. Reporting directly to the Inventory and Allocation Manager the successful candidate is responsible to assist with the day to day operations of the AGR department.

As an AGR Inventory Allocation Coordinator for JYSK, you will be responsible for:

  • Running weekly store orders through our Automated Replenishment System (AGR) as per schedule
  • Reviewing and approving add on orders sent from the stores on a daily basis
  • Reviewing stores feedback and making approved changes to the orders produced from AGR
  • Identifying inventory issues and alerting the Store Manager and Operations Manager to take corrective action
  • Entering splits as needed and reporting any system inaccuracies
  • Updating the Warehouse pick sheet with approved orders that are ready for picking
  • Working with stores on incoming issues and providing appropriate timely solutions
  • Validate all items have a min quantity for ordering

The Right Candidate has:

  • Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an ordering/buying/forecasting capacity
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and provide alternative solutions to problems
  • Is a self motivated individual, who is able to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication skills
  • JYSK Store Experience or similar retail store experience would be considered an asset
